The Introbiz Expo 2018 was the biggest and most successful business event Wales has seen this year, welcoming Lord Alan Sugar and Grant Cardone to Cardiff.

The day, held on Thursday, 22nd November at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff saw hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their products and services, thousands of visitors keen to expand their networks and prospects as well as countless seminars hosted by the likes of Google Digital Garage, WalesOnline, Aspen Waite and GPS Financial.

The day was filled with all sorts of events, ranging from a networking breakfast, a speed networking session, a VIP networking lunch hosted by Lord Alan Sugar and an exclusive VIP after party to close a highly successful day for Welsh business.

The networking breakfast began at 7am and included a breakfast provided by award-winning catering company Spiros Caterers and a Q&A session with WRU Chief Executive, Martyn Phillips and BBC broadcaster and event compere, Sean Holley.

The VIP networking lunch was a new addition to the event for 2018 and was sponsored by Hunter Jones Investments. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and the addition of a Q&A session with Lord Sugar and a highly insightful presentation given by Grant Cardone. Other keynote speakers included BBC’s The Apprentice winners, Mark Wright and Alana Spencer, Lisa Cameron, Paul McFadden, Matt Soltys, Emma Cooper, Giovanni Malacrino, and Avnish Goyal.

The VIP after party was held at The Vale Resort and its aim was to raise funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. A silent auction, auction and raffle was enjoyed, a delicious 3-course meal and plenty of live entertainment. The event was attended by global entrepreneur, Grant Cardone and his wife Elena. In total, we raised over £10,000 for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity who work to give a lifetime of support to soldiers and veterans from the British Army, and their immediate families when they are in need.

The day was a great success with thousands of new business connections made, over a millions pounds’ worth of business has already been secured and all brands have been promoted across a number of social and marketing platforms, ensuring maximum exposure for the exhibitors, speakers and seminar hosts. The event was filmed by BBC Wales and WalesOnline and was broadcast on television.
