A mentor can offer businesses experience, enthusiasm and skills to benefit their mentees. They can also give guidance in developing and improving their businesses, help with difficult decisions, brainstorm ideas for new products and services, building confidence and work on personal development.
Having worked in the Marketing and Management industry for over 35 years, Mark Wilcox launched Business Step Up and is now actively involved in assisting businesses grow with the assistance of government funded programmes, specialising particularly where support is needed with people, processes and planning. He’s worked all over the UK offering his expertise, including Scotland, North Midlands, London, Bournemouth, Dorset, the Southwest and Wales, where he now resides with his family.
Answering why he nominated Introbiz for the Mentee of the Year Award for 2017, he said; “I have been truly privileged to work with both Paul and Tracey since 2014 and was honoured to nominate them for the award.
“They demonstrate professionalism in every way and are dedicated to helping businesses, including start-ups and SMEs to promote their products and services for growth and profit this through their events. I am thrilled that their passion, drive and commitment has been recognised and I’m sure that this award will be the first of many.”
Tracey and Paul said; “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Mentee of the Year Award for 2017. We never thought we’d win but we’re thrilled to have been nominated by Mark. We’ve learnt so much to benefit Introbiz through Mark and we’d urge all businesses to consider having a mentor.
